An introduction to wine

An introduction to wine

An opportunity awaits to enter world of wine while staying in the relaxing and cosy atmosphere of Chez Passet. Where better to learn about wine than to be in the place of it’s origin with your very own Sommelier and Chef Di Warren?

In 2012 &  2013 Chez Passet held 2 successful Introduction to Wine Courses with guests from all over the world. With our close proximity to Bordeaux, Cahors, Madiran and Languedoc not to mention Rioja in Spain, Chez Passet is ideally situated to visit all of these places with an easy drive in our comfortable 8 seater van.

Introduction to Wine is just that, an introduction, where you will learn the fundamentals of wine from how wine is made, how to taste wine, Food and Wine pairing, the differences between “Old World” and “New World” wines and what gives wine different characteristics along with many many more fascinating facts about wine.
