Time Flies By...

It's March already and I wondering what I have done since my last blog? The more I thought about it the more I realized that we've been busy working on Chez Passet, putting our own "mark" on the place and discovering all the little idiosyncrasies that go with owning an old house...?!

The spring-like weather has been great for riding, the ski hills received some fresh snow (as it was the French school holidays there were plenty people around so we would only ski for the morning) and the flowers and trees are starting to bloom so it feels like summer is just around the corner (I even had to cut the lawn?).

My next CycloSportive is in May (http://www.larouedor.fr/) which I'm really looking forward to as there will be 6 previous winners of the Tour de France taking part so it should be quite the experience. The upper mountains are still covered in snow but I'm starting now to be able to get into the lower ones so the hill climbing training is starting up again. C.C. Lourdais continues to ride each week and the intensity is picking up so I can tell that the cycle season is starting.

Di has been busy building / fixing "things" and we have just started to plant the vegetables for the summer so now all we have to do is keep Frankie away from the garden and everything should be fine (that's my job)...

Time Flies when you're having fun...
